MSc. Ioan-Claudiu COȚOVANU
Co-Founder & General Manager
Senior Mechanical FEA & NVH Engineer
15+ years of experience in design and Multiphysics simulation of electric motors. Claudiu received the M.Sc. degree in Computer Aided Design of Manufacturing Systems from Machine Building Faculty, UTCN, in 2013. His primary research interest is the assessment of the dynamic behaviour of electrical machines subjected to shocks and mechanical vibrations through frequency response analyses. Further preoccupation in electromagnetic-thermo-mechanical integrated design of electrical machines is part of his day-to-day work.
Ongoing PhD studies: “Multiphysics optimization of electric motors for propulsion systems with high energy efficiency and high power and torque density”.
Dr. György KULCSÁR
Co-Founder
Senior Mechanical FEA & NVH Engineer
17+ years of experience, with over 15 years dedicated to the mechanical design and Multiphysics simulation of electric motors. György received the M.Sc. degree in Advance Computer Modelling and Mechanical Engineering from Machine Building Faculty, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering, in 2012, both from UTCN. His primary research interests are in multidisciplinary numerical simulations (thermo-mechanical, noise and vibrations), advanced bearing assessments, and advanced optimization techniques.
PhD in industrial engineering: “Bearing internal geometry optimization using evolutionary algorithms”.
MSc. Sergiu-Mihai MARCIUC
Co-Founder
Senior Thermal & CFD Engineer
16+ years of experience, with over 14 years dedicated to the thermal design of electric motors. Sergiu received the M.Sc. degree in Renewable Energies from Faculty of Mechanics, UTCN, in 2014. His primary research interest is in the thermodynamic assessment of the electrical machines through analytical calculations and numerical simulation, as well as their thermal management optimization through various cooling technologies, that go beyond the state of the art.
MSc. Matei-Dumitru SALOMIE
Co-Founder
Senior Mechanical FEA & NVH Engineer
25+ years of experience, with over 18 years dedicated to the mechanical design and Multiphysics simulation of electric motors, plus an additional 7-year previous experience in projects for various industrial applications. His distinctive knowledge in materials science, manufacturing technologies, GD&T, as well as design best practices, bring added value to the envelope design of electrical machines on the projects we are committed to.
